Creating calm with lavender essential oil

may you hear and speak truth, may your life and your creations express the fullness of who you are, may you know ever deeper levels of truth.

Lavender calms the insecurities that we sometimes feel when we want to express our feelings and thoughts. This essential oil is perfect for people who have a deep fear of being heard and seen. While they may talk a lot and may seem like very active people, they’re actually holding back their innermost feelings. The expression is not connected to the heart center.

Due to past experiences, we may remain blocked in racing and worried thoughts, anxiety and sleep disruption. Often we don’t allow ourselves to express our emotions because we may feel unsafe, fearful or rejected. Strong feelings of being unloved, unheard, or unimportant can accompany this state of being.

Lavender essential oil can encourage us to be honest with our emotions and insist that one speak their innermost desires and thoughts. When we learn to communicate from our heart, we can achieve the experience of unconditional love, peace of mind, and acceptance.

Lavender is an adaptogenic essential oil, it works wherever it is needed. This means that we can use Lavender oil for all seven chakras, but mostly with Anahata, Vishudda and Ajna Chakra. For Throat chakra healing, on a physical level, Lavender is useful to heal mouth abscess and oral thrush. On an emotional level, Lavender promotes peace, love, and awareness. When we feel love in our hearts and peace, deeper layers of emotional pain can surface to our conscious awareness. This is necessary for clearing the repressed energy and allowing free flow through the Throat chakra.

Lavender oil is incredibly calming and great for headaches; a common occurrence whenever your third eye is blocked. We can calm the active mind with Lavender to reach a higher state of consciousness.

You can use lavender oil for almost anything, it doesn’t matter if it’s spiritual healing, emotional release or for physical tension. Lavender oil can be added to baths to soothe sore muscles and tired bodies. It can also be rubbed onto your temples to treat a headache, or stroked onto a burn to help healing with very little scarring. Pure Lavender oil can even be added to food as a taste booster.
